Acoustic Guitar :
Class is approx. 120 hrs
With two or more students a two week class is available
12 hours a day for 12 days over a two week period
A weekend class for about 12 weeks available for single students
Weekend class can be from one to four students that need not start on the same date.
Class fee is $2500
$1250 is due upon registration (refundable with one month notice)
$1250 is due the first day of class (non-refundable)
Student is responsible for acquisition of materials (about $500)
Electric Guitar :
Class is approx. 60 hrs
With two or more students a one week class is available
12 hours a day for 6 days over a one week period
A weekend class for about 6 weeks available for single students
The weekend class can be from one to four students that need not start on same date
Class fee is $1500
$750 is due upon registration (refundable with one month notice)
$750 is due first day of class (non-refundable)
Student is responsible for acquisition of materials (about $250~$500)
Every one will leave the class with a playable guitar. Because of time constraints finishing the guitar with lacquer will not be possible. I will spend part of one day discussing and demonstrating various finishes. To completely lacquer a guitar takes three to five weeks, most of it waiting for something to dry or cure. After the final coat of lacquer alone there is a two to three week cure time.
A materials list and list of suppliers will be emailed or mailed upon registration (materials can be shipped directly to me) to be stored in a humidity & temperature controlled environment until class.
